Tolerance in modern research is considered in a wide range of different philosophical and psychological approaches. In current literature, behavioral tolerance is seen as a particular form of human behavior, with cognitive tolerance dominated by approaches with cognitive and rational causes. There are several approaches to tolerance, expressed in a unique way in the scientific works of scientists from far and near abroad. Based on the development of psychological models that fully explain the essence of tolerance, it is possible to create and test methodological tools for the socio- psychological study of tolerance and develop its empirical base, to develop practical foundations of tolerance.
