This article is devoted to the types of procurement procedures in the public procurement system of Uzbekistan, the concept of public procurement, types and features of procurement procedures in the Republic of Uzbekistan are disclosed. A comparative analysis of the types and methods of procurement procedures is given on the example of a number of neighboring countries, as well as the experience of applying the norms of national legislation in this area. Based on the study of national experience and comparative analysis of the legislation of foreign countries, recommendations and proposals are given aimed at improving national legislation in the field of public procurement
