This article analyzes the place and role of constitutional control in the system of state power of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The Republic of Karakalpakstan is a sovereign territory within the Republic of Uzbekistan, operating on the basis of an independent democratic system, where human dignity, freedom, and rights are recognized as the highest value. In the process of implementing these values, all state and non-state organizations, including citizens, must carry out their activities on the basis of constitutional norms. The article extensively analyzes the legal essence of constitutional control, its institutional status, place in international practice, theoretical approaches, and practical situation in Karakalpakstan. In particular, scientifically based conclusions are given on the functional features of the Committee for Constitutional Control of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the need for its independent functioning from other branches of governmentThe scientific views put forward by the author serve to clarify the important role of constitutional control in the system of state power and ensure its institutional strength.
