This article analyzes the psychological content of the concept of risk, its role in human activity, and the main theoretical approaches. Its essence is revealed on the basis of cognitive, emotional, and motivational factors related to risk, as well as classical and modern psychological theories. The results of the study show that risk is an integral part of human behavior and plays an important role in the decision-making process.
