SELF-UNDERSTANDING IS THE KEY TO LIVING A MEANINGFUL LIFE
Egamov, Oyatillo
Abstract
This article explores human self-understanding as the fundamental philosophical factor determining the meaning of life. Three stages of self-awareness — biological identification, social adaptation, and existential essence — are analyzed, comparing views of Eastern and Western thinkers including Socrates, Imam Ghazali, Viktor Frankl, J.P. Sartre, and C.G. Jung. The conclusion proves that self-understanding is the cornerstone of a meaningful life.
