Annotatsiya

The article explores the origins of the na't-writing tradition within the history of written sources, analyzing in which literature it first appeared. It examines the na't sections in the works of Abu Nasr al-Farabi, Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, and Abu Ali ibn Sina. Examples of na'ts—sections dedicated to the Prophet (PBUH) —are provided from 10th-11th century written literary sources, including Yusuf Khass Hajib's epic "Qutadghu Bilig" and Mahmud Kashgari's "Dīwān Lughāt al-Turk." Furthermore, the study differentiates between the scripts and languages of early medieval treatises to determine the genesis of na'ts in written literature.
