INTERNATIONAL LEGAL REGULATION OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ON THE GLOBAL INTERNET

This article examines the international legal problems of regulating interference in private activities through the use of modern ICTs, which greatly simplify the processes of tracking personal data, including identity identification. The purpose of the article is to study the issues of international legal regulation of personal data protection, namely actions aimed at protecting information related to a certain or determined on the basis of such information to an individual. Based on best practices, the issues of international legal regulation of aspects of security and protection of personal data are disclosed, providing for provisions on storage and use, including procedures for protection against loss, destruction and unauthorized disclosure, including through international control through international organizations.
