This research paper is devoted to a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the performance of prosecutors in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study examines the theoretical foundations of the prosecutor's office, including the historical aspects of its formation, legal nature, and place in the system of state power. The paper analyzes the practical problems of the functioning of prosecutorial bodies and proposals for reforming the national system. It also examines the mechanism for internally evaluating the effectiveness of prosecutors and conducts a comparative legal analysis of prosecutorial models in foreign countries, particularly Germany, Finland, and the Russian Federation.
