Annotatsiya

This article discusses the contribution of the founder of the Uzbek language, the great poet and thinker Alisher Navoi to the science of Uzbek linguistics, his linguistic views on the levels and units of the language. His philosophical views on general issues of linguistics, like language and thinking, explanations of the genesis of languages; and also, his linguistic views on phonetics-phonology, lexicology and grammar are analyzed on the example of the work "Muhokamatul-lugatayn" by comparing the Persian and Uzbek languages.
