FROM TOPONYMY TO LINGUOCULTUROLOGY: THE STUDY OF THEORETICAL PROBLEMS

This article discusses one of the main directions of the anthropocentric scientific paradigm - the formation of linguoculturology, the transition to the study of toponyms on the basis of linguoculturological aspects. The study of toponyms from the linguocultural point of view is summarized in the study of linguistics, especially Russian linguistics. Through this, the differences and experiences of the study of toponyms in the linguo-cultural aspect are described. In the linguoculturological treatment of toponymic compounds, the description of the terms of a particular region, in a comparative or diachronic form, the toponyms in the literary texts are considered as the object of research of the toponyms, which are part of the phraseological units. Thus, in linguistics, research is being conducted on the study of toponyms in a new scientific paradigm, that is, the anthropocentric paradigm.
