Among the sources of Islamic history in the Middle Ages, Muhammad ibn Jarir Tabari’s work “Tarikh ar-Rusl wa al-Muluk” (“Tarikh ar-Rusul wal-muluk” - “History”) occupies a special place. In presenting narrations about historical processes, Tabari tried to give all the narrations that came to him, without preferring one narration to the other, and served to reach many oral and written narrations until the next period.
