WOMEN'S LITERATURE DEVELOPMENT (IN THE FIRST HALF OF XX CENTURY IN CHINA)

This study is devoted to the development of women's literature of the first half of the XX century, which is an integral and important part of Chinese literature. Already at the beginning of the 20th century, there was a sharp increase in the number of women engaged in artistic creativity in China. The revolutionary movements at the beginning of the century, the Sino-Japanese war, the rule of Mao Zedong, the suppression of democratic movements, as well as the isolation of the intelligentsia in special camps, all these riots in the country, could not prevent women from engaging in creativity. In addition, by the 40-50 years of the 20th century, the number of women participating in the socio- political life of the country increased, various women's movements, women's magazines, newspapers and entire societies were created. Their role in the life of the country has significantly increased. Women's literature developed even more. Dozens of writers, such as Bin Xing, Lin Shuhua, Lu Yin, Ding Lin, Xiao Hong, Shi Pingmei, Cao Ming, Lu Bicheng, Zhang Ailing and others have played an important role in the socio-political and spiritual and cultural life of the country. Most of these women writers took an active part both in literary processes and in public affairs. The article describes in detail the life and work of some of them. The scientific works of the writers used in the study were recognized not only in China, but also in world literature. The issues that are raised in the literary works of the writers, in particular the history of the people of China in the first half of the XX century and the literary environment of that century, serve as a basis for enriching our understanding of the history of the Chinese people.
