Today in Uzbekistan special attention is paid to the study of foreign languages. The decrees issuedby our government and the conditions created create the task of shaping the German language of youngpeople, from preschools to universities. The development of students’ language skills in German has alsobecome a topical issue. Listening comprehension is one of the most important language skills in learninga foreign language. This article contains information on various methods, techniques and exercises thatserve to develop listening comprehension and language skills, and analyzes their practical effectiveness.The relevance of the topic is that the national methodology has not yet fully developed the methods thatserve to develop listening comprehension and their effectiveness, in this work, this method, technique andexercise are analyzed.
