This article analyzes the current state of electronic services and automation of tourist permits in the tourismsector, as well as existing challenges and areas for further improvement. In the context of digital transformation, theelectronic transfer of government services, particularly in the tourism sector, is of great importance, simplifying permitissuance processes, ensuring transparency, and improving service quality. The study highlights best internationalpractices, the potential of using artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain technologies, and develops practicalproposals for Uzbekistan's conditions.
