The article presents the idea that the main goal of teaching native languageliteracy is to form students’ creative abilities through work on educational tasks in native languageliteracy education and to help our youth express their thoughts creatively and independently, freelyand effectively, meaningfully and logically in written and oral form, as well as to expand theirhorizons, educate them in the spirit of love for our homeland, the rich spirituality left by ourancestors, and our national traditions. In particular, the role of the subject of native language andreading literacy, educational tasks in primary grades and the formation of students’ creativeabilities through this is discussed
