Annotatsiya
The article analyzes the scientific and theoretical foundations of the concept of “implicit competence,” which is becoming increasingly relevant in modern pedagogy and psychology. It examines the evolution of the concepts of competence and competency (R. White, N. Chomsky), M. Polanyi’s theory of tacit knowledge, A. Reber’s concept of implicit learning, C. Dweck’s approach to implicit theories (mindsets), and H. and S. Dreyfus’s model of stage-by-stage skill acquisition. Drawing on an analysis of contemporary foreign and national scholarly literature, the article substantiates the structure of implicit competencies, their distinction from explicit competencies, and the mechanisms of their formation in the educational process.
