SEASONALITY OF STROKE IN DESERT-STEPPE ZONES OF UZBEKISTAN

Аннотация

            To study seasonal changes in the incidence of cerebral stroke, long-term registration of its occurrence in the entire population is required. We have studied the seasonality of the development of cerebral strokes in the desert-steppe zones of Uzbekistan based on the data obtained from the register of cerebral strokes using the example of the Khorezm region for 2019. The prevalence of strokes in the winter and spring months of the year was revealed. Information on seasonal episodes of increased incidence of stroke can be used for disease prevention and is useful in developing a newsletter during periods of increased incidence.
