Арсланова Зера Энверовна, Игорь Александрович Югай
Annotatsiya
The long-term prognosis of patients with spina bifida and tethered spinal cord is largely determined by the quality of the preoperative assessment and the timing of surgery. A prompt and effective multidisciplinary consultation, including a comprehensive examination of all body systems, is key to the timely identification and correction of factors that can lead to mortality and complications. Early diagnosis and optimization of the patient's condition before surgery significantly reduce the risk of mortality and morbidity, ensuring a more favorable clinical outcome.
