THE IMPACT OF A COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION PROGRAM ON THE SOCIO-PSYCHOEMOTIONAL STATUS OF PATIENTS WITH STAGE I–II CHRONIC CEREBRAL ISCHEMIA

The article presents the results of implementing a comprehensive rehabilitation program in patients with stage I–II chronic cerebral ischemia. The study provides data on the impact of an integrated therapeutic and restorative approach on psychoemotional status, social adaptation, and quality of life. The study included 75 patients divided into a main group receiving comprehensive intervention (pharmacotherapy, cognitive training, physical activity, psychoeducation, and social support) and a comparison group receiving standard treatment. Assessment was carried out using the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), an asthenia scale, the SF-36 quality of life questionnaire, and social adaptation assessment tools. The results demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in anxiety and depressive symptoms, a decrease in asthenia, improvement in physical, emotional, and social functioning, as well as increased involvement in daily life in the main group.
