In this article, from the point of view of an objective analysis, the main focal stages of the development of the Great Silk Road, its influence on the development of all of Central Asia and Uzbekistan, in particular, are considered. The article provides an objective legal analysis of the development of the Silk Road, as well as its contractual foundations. The main milestones in the development of this transport highway were subjected to critical analysis. From the international legal standpoint, the current state of this transport artery and its prospects are considered. A comprehensive analysis is given and a number of practical measures for the legal regulation of the status of such transport routes are proposed.
