Annotatsiya

The development of the “Free time” and “Leisure” industries is of great importance in the renewed Uzbekistan. There are many definitions of the concept of “leisure”. We can see that in the works of ancient thinkers, modern researchers, Russian, English, French, German sociologists, many definitions are given, focusing on leisure, working time, rest, time, work, homework and other issues. The article also discusses the theoretical understanding of "leisure" and free time, as well as the views and approaches of thinkers on the importance of leisure, socio-historical and individual characteristics. It was noted that the share of leisure in Uzbekistan is declining, the consumption of its use, the urgency of studying this problem, the existence of several different approaches, the need for sociological research that can be used to study the problem in more depth. The article discusses its meaning in terms of different academic schools. In the article, its meaning is discussed in terms of different academic schools. Theoretical and methodological approaches to understanding were analyzed. In the XXI century, the opportunities for leisure in person are increasing compared to the XX century. Leisure is becoming one of the important factors determining human society. It is emphasized that a number of conditions are necessary in the society itself to provide free time for the majority of the employed population.
