DYNAMICS OF SOCIO-POLITICAL ACTIVITY OF YOUTH IN UZBEKISTAN UNDER CONDITIONS OF CIVIL SOCIETY

This article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the data collected by sociological studies conducted by the author in 2010 and 2018 with the aim of studying the process of political socialization and developing a social portrait of the youth of Uzbekistan as a voter, and these findings make it possible to demonstrate the dynamics of socio-political activity of the youth of Uzbekistan in civil society context. At the same time, socio-political activity is seen as the main criterion for youth electoral culture. The article uses the results of a series of sociological researches conducted by the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Izhtimoy Fikr”. As factors determining the socio-political activity of youth, the main attention is paid to civil society institutions, including political parties, youth organizations, mahallas, as well as the education system, the media and the family.
