The article is devoted to the study of the status of women in society and understanding of their purpose. The systems of social protection of the population in modern conditions have been analyzed. The models of social protection of women have been considered. The innovative aspects of the formation of a model of social protection of the population in modern Uzbekistan have been considered. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were drawn on the need to expand social protection measures for women. It identified vulnerable categories of women who need social protection to ensure the health of the nation and maintain a high standard of living and well-being.
