PREVENTIVE PROTOCOLS FOR REDUCING THE RISK OF POST-TRAUMATIC PNEUMONIA IN PATIENTS WITH CHEST TRAUMA

Chest trauma is a common clinical condition associated with a high risk of complications, particularly post-traumatic pneumonia. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of preventive protocols in reducing the incidence of pneumonia in patients with thoracic injuries. A total of 80 patients were included and divided into main and control groups. The main group received a комплекс preventive approach including multimodal analgesia, early mobilization, respiratory physiotherapy, and infection control measures. The results showed a significantly lower incidence of pneumonia in the main group. In addition, hospital stay was shorter and overall clinical outcomes were improved. In conclusion, the implementation of preventive protocols is effective in reducing post-traumatic pneumonia in patients with chest trauma.
