Annotatsiya
This article presents a comparative analysis of the transformation in the reclamation and physicochemical properties of irrigated soils in the Khorezm and Syrdarya regions under conditions of water scarcity. It was established that over the past 50 years, the content of exchangeable calcium in the soil absorbing complex (SAC) has sharply decreased, while the proportions of sodium and magnesium have increased 5–8 times. The processes of soil transition from the «non-sodic» category to «strongly sodic» and «arzyk» (dolomitized) phases are scientifically substantiated.
