The article examines flow prediction algorithms and modeling capabilities in the river water intake area and the inlet channel. It covers the issues of extrapolating the Saint-Venant equations by extending their scope of application beyond the permissible limits. Furthermore, the article suggests methods for overcoming challenges arising from real physical differences during the derivation and solution of the Saint-Venant equations, ensuring their successful application in flow modeling.
