This article is devoted to the analysis of the essence of interethnic relations and religious tolerance, which are considered as social relations, characterized by a value basis, a special worldview of the participants in relations during the reign of the Mamunids. The article deals with the created conditions that ensured the social harmony of people under the rule of the Mamunids, that is, the conditions for the formation of interethnic harmony, tolerance and the development of tolerant consciousness of the individual.
