Annotatsiya
This article presents the results of a study on the microbiota of the plum aphid (Aphididae), which causes significant damage to plum orchards. During the study, infected and dead samples of the pest were collected, and their microflora was analyzed under laboratory conditions. Microbiological analyses isolated a number of bacterial cultures from the infected aphids. Among them, the species Bacillus cereus, Bacillus thuringiensis, Bacillus subtilis, and Bacillus pumilus were found to be dominant. Both phytopathogenic and entomopathogenic properties of these microorganisms were analyzed. The results obtained serve as an important scientific basis for the development of biological control agents against plum aphids.
