The morphological characteristics of the apple aphid (Aphis pomi De Geer) and the influence of agroclimatic factors on its population development were investigated. The study was conducted in fruit orchards located in the Shavat and Urgench districts of the Khorezm region. Morphological features of the pest were described, and population dynamics were analyzed in relation to air temperature and relative humidity. The results revealed that relative humidity is the primary ecological factor affecting aphid abundance, while temperature within the optimal range has a comparatively weaker effect. An increase in relative humidity to 49–50% significantly enhanced aphid population density. The findings can be applied for forecasting aphid outbreaks and improving integrated pest management strategies in fruit orchards.
