Abstract
This article analyzes the effect of nitrogen fertilizers on the growth, development and yield of sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum L.). During the study, different nitrogen rates were applied and their effects on plant height, leaf number, fruit set and total yield were studied. The results showed that the normal application of nitrogen fertilizers accelerates vegetative growth, enhances photosynthesis and increases yield. At the same time, it was found that excessive nitrogen application can lead to excessive development of vegetative mass, delayed fruit ripening and reduced crop quality.
