Abstract
This article presents the results of scientific research aimed at improving the cultivation technology of kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) under the soil and climatic conditions of the Surkhandarya region. The research was carried out jointly by scientists from Termez State University of Engineering and Agrotechnologies and the Research Institute of Fiber Crops. Using the kenaf variety “Uzbekistan 22–68” as the experimental material, the effects of mineral fertilizer application rates, irrigation regimes, and inter-row cultivation practices on plant growth, development, and productivity were investigated.
