Abstract

This study evaluated the effects of different planting systems and management methods on leaf chlorophyll content in sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.). The results showed that 90 cm row spacing and management under film significantly increased chlorophyll content (13.2-16.5 mg/100 g) and improved photosynthetic activity of plants. The highest values were recorded in planting rates of 70×30×1 (48 thousand plants/ha) and 90×25×1 (44 thousand plants/ha).
