SHOLI (ORYZA SATIVA L.) NAVLARIDA QURG‘OQCHILIK VA YUQORI HARORAT SHAROITIDA UNISH HAMDA DASTLABKI O‘SISH KO‘RSATKICHLARINI BAHOLASH

Abstract
In this study, the tolerance of “Sadaf”, “Iskandar”, “Billur”, “Mustaqillik”, “Lazurniy”, and “Ziynat” rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivars to drought and high-temperature stress was evaluated under laboratory conditions. Seed germination percentage, number of roots, root length, shoot length, and Seedling Vigor Index were investigated. The results showed that the cultivars “Mustaqillik” and “Lazurniy” exhibited greater adaptability under drought stress conditions. Under high-temperature stress, the cultivars “Sadaf” and “Mustaqillik” demonstrated the highest Seedling Vigor Index values. The obtained results indicate the potential of these cultivars for stress tolerance assessment and their utilization in rice breeding programs.
