Annotatsiya
Purpose: The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the relevance and current state of research on the methodology for improving the physical fitness of higher education institution (HEI) students through CrossFit training. Pedagogical solutions are substantiated based on expert experience. Methodology: Employing comparative-analytical and systematic approaches, 18 sources from 2013–2025 were analyzed. Legal and regulatory documents, research by foreign and Uzbek scholars, and uploaded primary sources were comparatively reviewed. Results: A literature review revealed that CrossFit training increases VO2max by 13.6–18.4%, muscle strength by 15–17%, and motivation by over 22% after a 10-week course (Smith, 2013; Claudino, 2018; Rios, 2024). However, no scientific research has been conducted in this area within Uzbekistanʼs HEIs, representing a clear gap. Conclusion: A three-stage CrossFit methodology should be scientifically introduced and studied within the context of Uzbekistanʼs higher education institutions.
