Каландарова Мадина Бахадировна
Abstract
This article analyzes the socio-psychological factors influencing women’s adaptation to motherhood during the postpartum period. In contemporary psychology, adaptation to motherhood is interpreted as a complex, multidimensional, and dynamic process associated with the acceptance of a new social role, changes in family relationships, and the formation of the “mother–child” dyad. Based on scientific sources, the study highlights the phenomena of maternal identity, maternal self-efficacy, social support, parental stress, and emotional burnout.
