Abstract
This article explores the theoretical and practical aspects of service sector development in the context of the transition to an innovative and digital economy.It also examines the evolution of academic views on the service sector, drawing on the works of both classical and contemporary economists.Particular attention is paid to digitalization and modernization processes, which directly impact service quality and stimulate economic growth.
