Аннотация
The article analyzes the development of culture and art of Karakalpakstan in theperiod 1930-1990 from the point of view of theater, music, choreography, and institutional systems.The transition from the national drama troupe "Tong nuri" to the Karakalpak State Musical Dramaand Comedy Theater, the formation of the mobilization repertoire, philharmonic and ensemblesystems during the war years, the opening of the Young Spectators Theater (1978), the formation ofa large symphony orchestra, and the staging of the first national opera "Ajiniyaz" (1987) and thefirst national ballet "Ayjamal" (1996) are highlighted based on factual materials. The research isconducted according to the criteria of art history - genre diversification, repertoire policy,professionalization, synthesis of national and world traditions, and the influence of cultural policy.The conclusions substantiate the formation of the Karakalpak school of performing arts and its closeconnection with professional education and infrastructure.
