Аннотация
The article examines the formation and functioning features of the system of benefits and incentives for women employed in the light industry enterprises of the Fergana Valley in 1946-1960. Based on the analysis of archival documents, legislative acts, and scientific literature, the study reveals the material labor incentives, provision of social guarantees, development of children's institutions, and improvement of housing, living conditions, and medical care for female workers in Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions. It is shown that this system served as a means of social protection and a tool for providing enterprises with stable labor resources. However, the practical implementation of these measures was accompanied by difficulties related to insufficient infrastructure funding, housing shortages, and the persistent double burden on women.
