This article analyzes the implementation of communist ideology in the education system of the Uzbek SSR, its essence, and its impact on the social and economic life of society through the sphere of education. The study examines the politicization of curricula and textbooks based on communist ideas, the restriction of national values and traditions, and the strengthening of ideological processes. Particular attention is paid to the policy of Russification in the education system, the one-sided interpretation of historical processes, and the teaching of national history under ideological control, as well as their consequences. In addition, the influence of communist policy on the education system during the period of independence and in subsequent years is analyzed.
