This scientific article scientifically analyzes the role of the sound director intheatrical art, their creative and technical activities, the aesthetic function of sound in the stageprocess, and the influence of modern technologies on theatrical sound design. The sound director isconsidered as an important creative subject that ensures the artistic integrity of the stage work, andtheir interaction with the actor, director, and stage designer is highlighted. The article providesconclusions based on theoretical analysis, practical experience, and examples from moderntheatrical practice.
