Abstract
This article analyzes the historical development, artistic representations, and ethnomusicological significance of the dombra in the cultural heritage monuments of Uzbekistan. Based on archaeological findings, miniature art, and written sources, the study explores the ancient regions of the dombra’s distribution, its socio-cultural functions, and its role in the musical culture of the peoples of Central Asia.
