THE EFFICIENCY OF CASE METHOD IN TEACHING RUSSIAN

Abstract

The article examines the features of using case study in teaching Russian to students of higher educational institutions. The research results are applicable both to teaching philology and non-philology students. The article analyzes the phases of the educational process using the method of case study. The results of the experiment revealed the effectiveness of the recommended innovative three-component case model, which takes into account the level of students’ language proficiency, their personal qualities, as well as educational environment. The article also provides methodological requirements and conditions under which the effectiveness of case study method can be increased.
