ON THE INTERACTION OF PISA AND TIMISS STUDIES

Аннотация
On the basis of the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to organize international research in the field of assessing the quality of education in the public education system", the introduction of international studies PIRLS, TIMSS, PISA and TALIS in Uzbekistan was determined, and in order to implement these studies, the National Center for International Research was created assessment of the quality of education under the Education Inspectorate. Now work has begun on preparing for participation in the international TIMSS-2023 program. According to the "official proposal for participation in the trends of International Mathematical and Scientific Research (TIMSS) 2023", the issue of participation for the first time Uzbekistan in the TIMSS program was considered. Based on the dialogue between the National Center for International Research on Education Quality Assessment under the Education Inspectorate, for the first time, the consent of the IEA leadership was obtained.
