Аннотация

The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the phraseological units of the English, Uzbek and Russian languages with the names of vegetables and fruits.       Phraseological units are of great interest for a comparative study which represent phraseologisms in which national originality of the history, ideas related to work, life and culture of the people. The article is devoted to comparative analysis of the phraseological units of the English, Uzbek and Russian languages ​​with the names of vegetables, fruits, berries. The functional and semantic features of the phraseological units used in the analysis are based on examples. to turn to the phraseological units of the English, Uzbek and Russian languages, which have the names of vegetables and fruits in their composition. Everybody knows about the benefits and significance of these food for human life, but we propose to consider them in terms of their use in different language situations. The meaning of the significant word is not to remote from its ordinary meanings. This meaning is formed as the consequence of generalized figurative meaning of a free and set word combination. It is the result of figurative metaphoric reconsideration of a word-combination in real life.         As a part of the study, we paid attention to the most popular not only in English are phraseological units with fruits, and in Uzbek and Russian the phraseological units with fruits and vegetables, even berries. This can be explained by the difference in the food culture of these peoples, due to climatic, commercial, political and other conditions, fruits in our country are mainly on the tables of all people, while in English-speaking countries fruits were widely distributed and more accessible. Let us turn to a more thorough analysis and try to isolate the aspect and semantic correlations of phraseological units described in our article.
