The article highlights the objective and subjective reasons for the emergence of pedagogical conflicts in a higher educational institution. The objective and subjective socio-psychological determinants of pedagogical conflicts are described. The main methods for resolving a conflict situation. It is noted that a competently conducted psychological analysis will help to find not only options for resolution, but also possible ways to prevent or extinguish pedagogical conflicts.
