INNOVATIVE FORMS OF TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Аннотация
The problem of increasing the efficiency of teaching is one of the oldest in the history of the mankind. The search for the most effective forms and methods is directly related to the development of the innovative technologies that can be decisive at a certain moment. For the last 15 years with new information technologies such as internet, mobile phones, tabs coming into our lives we see the changes of the ways the users integrate these items into their lives. The progress of the technological sphere is reflected and influences the processes of the educational sector. The article is devoted to the innovative forms of teaching foreign languages in the group of Master’s Degree Students. This category of students has distinctive characteristics including age, experience of getting a high education, employment history and eventually a high motivation when choosing targets, objectives, and teaching methods as well. The authors review the innovative forms of teaching foreign languages with or without using information and communication technologies including online conferences, virtual environment, software, training etc. The authors appeal to the studies of using innovative forms when teaching adults and to the basic principles of andragogy, and make a conclusion that the use of innovations particularly in this student category contributes to greater achievements.
