Abstract
The purpose of the article is a brief analysis of cultural mutual influences on Turkic military clothing, in this case, the Iranian cultural layer. The specific artistic features of the Iranian component in defensive weapons and clothing, armor, and horse equipment are considered as an important element of the developed settled civilization in the development of Turkic military clothing, closely intertwined with the functional requirements of military affairs and nomadic traditions.
