Abstract
This article examines the spiritual and cultural significance of Karakalpak epic traditions and their role in the formation of national theater and acting art. It highlights the artistic interpretation of ideas such as heroism, patriotism, justice, and humanism reflected in epics. The study also analyzes the tradition of the “one-actor theater” formed through the performances of bakhshi and jirov, and its influence on the development of acting skills. Particular attention is given to the scientific and creative activity of Najim Dauqarayev, as well as to the stage interpretations of the musical drama “Alpomish” based on the народ epic. The significance of this work in the development of national culture is substantiated
