This article examines the translation of normative and technical documentation (NTD) from Russian into Uzbek. It examines theoretical approaches to technical translation, identifies problems in conveying terminology and phraseology, and demonstrates translation variability depending on the context and style of the document. Practical recommendations for selecting optimal translation options, eliminating errors and inaccuracies, and an expanded table of typical terms with their Uzbek equivalents are provided. This material will be useful to translators, standardization specialists, technical translation teachers, and lexicography researchers.
