Use of the Plant Ephedra (Ephédra Equisetina Bunge) as a Medicine in Traditional Medicine

Abstract
Nowadays, ephedra in the form of a decoction is widely used in folk medicine in the treatment of digestion, dysentery, rheumatism, various allergies, and bronchial asthma. In folk medicine, ephedra (Ephédra equistina Bunge) is used for peptic ulcers and other diseases of the stomach, malaria and tonsillitis. The chemical composition of the essential oil justified the widespread use of the plant in folk medicine in the treatment of various diseases.
